Who has time for cables?
I hate cables. They make my life a mess... well, at least, my desk is a mess. Plus, I'm lazy! I hate seeking for the right cable for the right device when I need to use it.
The gadgets I use the most are my digital cameras... I like the instant gratification of seeing my beautiful photography right after I take it. So how can I share my pictures just as instantly with my internet friends without the hassle of cables, card readers and extra software?
The Eye-Fi wireless memory card is a godsend, with its ability to connect to your Wi-Fi network! It can upload directly to Flickr, Facebook, Vox and tons of other photo sharing websites, and right from my camera! I can even download my photos wirelessly to my computer! It's magic!
I saw this today and thought it was very cool. I'd certainly use it a lot, though I'm not sure it would work with my camera.
Do you know anyone that's used this? I'd be interested to hear what people think of it.

This is cool. Does it work with certain cameras? Does the camera neeed wireless capability?

It works with all cameras that use SD, and AFAIK, your camera does not need special capabilities.
Some people have discussed their experiences with the EyeFi on the Laughing Squid Blog:

Everything that your camera needs is built into the card...amazing that the little bugger does wi-fi.
