I Star Chi.
"Somehow people must be free,
I hope the day comes soon.
Won't you please come to Chicago,
To show you face.
From the bottom of the ocean
To the mountains of the Moon.
Won't you please come to Chicago
No one else can take your place."
My husband grew up in Chicago and would absolutely love these t-shirts!

ok, so is it pronounced "chai" or "chee"?

Good question. I have no idea. It's pronounced "Shy-town" when you say "Chitown," so maybe it's "I love Shy?" No, that's not right. Hhmmm.

I say "I star Shy," Naz says "I star chee" -- it's up to you. Either way it's recognizably Chicago.

yeah but people from Chicago don't actually say "Chitown" & I wouldn't think I'd say "Chi" either. I like the look of it, but I don't like the sound of it.
Please do not speak this shirt, thx.

True, leah. It's meant to be read, not spoken. I doubt many people say "I heart NY" either.
:)
